Foobar2000 acts as an useful audio player released as free open source BSD licensed that can run on Windows computers. It requires low memory resources being fit for playing large playlists and comes with functions such as ReplayGain, support to play many wide-used audio formats such as WAV, AIFF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis as well as VOC, MPC, AU, SND, MP2 or MPEG-4 AAC.
Its open component architecture enables users to add new functions to the player.
You can even extract the songs or music files from RAR, 7-ZIP and ZIP archives and by adding some Foobar2000 official addons that available you can also play audio files that use FLAC and OggFLAC, Monkey's Audio, WavPack, several MOD types, Speex, CDDA, TFMX, SPC.
It's useful for music file info editing (song's generic file info but also masstagger) and features configurable music playlist and keyboard shortcuts.
