CDex is an answer to how to extract the songs from a CD. It is free to rip the CD and then save the songs directly or convert the output audio files to WAV or to other file type (mp3) and make your individual music compilation. With some help from an audio encoder you can even compress the songs that you rip in order to reduce their size.
The CDex free program will extract music tracks from audio CD and save them as .wav or mp3 separate songs. During extracting process, the application interface shows the progress of the CD ripping and estimates how long it takes.
The ripper enables streaming for external encoders and can be used as a help to convert from MPEG to .wav or reversely, keeping their original directory layout.
