Nullsoft Scriptable Install System, or for short NSIS, is a complex open source free program able to help you in making the Windows installer to set up your application. The generated setup program is tiny in size while you can fully configure it, being suitable for internet distribution.
Being conscious how important is a good installer for any software, NSIS lets you generate installers (setup programs) that are convenient for both developers and users.
It is script-based, which apparently is a drawback but this turns into more power, allowing you make advanced installation kits.
