To successfully install the GIMP package, you need the installer as well as additional libraries:
- Gimp Toolkit (GTK+ Runtime Environment) must be installed first. It is recommended the GTK+ edition 2.2.2 or newer.
- optional libraries may be installed.
- the undo/redo operations are limited only by hard disk space.
