HijackThis is not a regular antispyware tool, because instead of using a database with spyware signatures, it uses a heuristic method. After scanning the registry and the system area and files from your hard disk it provides just a log of issues that may be suspected of spyware or malware activity. It is less probable to understand this report by yourself, but it allows you to post your HijackThis scanning log file on a forum, where skillful guys will analyze it and detect if there are doubtful activities or there is a certain process that you must block or delete.
