CPU-Z, the so called system profiler freeware CPUID info tool that runs on Windows is able to detect and display computer's CPU info (central processing unit), what RAM type and motherboard chipset, the manufacturer as well as a lot of in-depth features and information regarding various hardware components found inside a PC.
The system information is compacted in one window so the answer to questions like what CPU, motherboard, memory or graphical card do i have on my system are at the one-click distance.
The information that CPUZ is able to show regarding CPU are name, number, package, core stepping and process, core voltage, instructions sets, clock multiplier, internal and external clocks, cache size.
Mainboard info: chipset (northbridge / southbridge), sensor, bios model/date vendor, model and revision.
About RAM: memory frequency, timings, vendor, serial number that is SPD (Serial Presence Detect).
It can also retrieve the specifications of your Windows system and the DirectX installed version.
